According to the statement released on Tuesday, FIFA banned Moses Chikati, Festus Okiring and Festo Omukoto with immediate effect for match fixing in the Kenya Premier League 2019.
This investigation was conducted by FIFA through its Integrity Department with the consent of and in cooperation with the relevant stakeholders and authorities. The Players were found guilty of having been involved in match manipulation in violation of art. 69 par. 1 of the FIFA Disciplinary Code.
The trio were banned for a period of 4 years from taking part in any kind of football-related activity at national and international level.
Both Moses Chikati and Festo Omukoto plays for Kakamega Homeboyz FC while Festus Okiring plays for Nzoia Sugar FC.
Another player from Uganda George Mandela was banned for life from engaging in any football related activities.
