Kenya emerges top 20 at the Military World Games

Kenya achieved to get 5 medals to be placed at the 20th position alongside Morocco in  the Military World Games held in Wahun, China. This games began in 1995 in the aim of promoting World peace.

Kenya’s Benjamin Kigen led the team after winning the 3000m steeplechase race in 8hrs 24 minutes and 50 second.

Egypt were the best country from Africa having raked in nine medals- two gold, two silver and five bronze to place 19th.

China were the dominant in these competition medal having  232 medals i.e. 131 gold, 64 silver and 37 bronze.
